Growing up in California was a beautiful way to stay super connected to my Latine Heritage. Being raised by a big Mexican family on my father’s side and a Salvadoran one on my mother’s side, things were always interesting and chaotic to say the least.

Current senior at Baldwin Wallace University, exploring what the classroom can bring with professors like Victoria Bussert, Matt Webb, and Sandy Simon. It truly took a village to get me to be the artist that I am today, and I owe it all to the graciousness of my educators, no salary in the world is enough to repay them for the experience and care they have given me.

Over the course of time, my life has granted me a few other nicknames to go by depending on the place. “El Torito,” or little bull, by my father when he realized I would never take no for an answer especially if I knew it was the right thing to do. “Carnitas” by Dad’s side of the family because ANYTIME there is a carne asada cookout, I will be getting at least 5 plates of food, minimum! “Goobsuniverse” when you are looking for the fiercest Fortnite/Video Game partner!

Family is everything to me, I am first generation American and first generation college student, so there is a lot on the line to try hard. Ever since I started theatre in high school, I knew that I had to work extra hard to have something to show for, I promised my mom a doctor in the family, so now I got to give her the most down-to-Earth, hardworking actor she can think of. I want to try my best to show my younger cousins and any family members that their sueñitos, dreams, are able to achieved through hard work, determination, and maybe some yummy tacos along the way!
